Crooked Creek Christmas Eve 2009

Well Christmas came early for a bunch of us in Arkansas. We got hammered with rain the night before Christmas eve and one of Arkansas's finest creeks decided she was gonna run. I met up with Brian Pinnel and Greg Stacy at about 4 am in Hot Springs. We got there and saw that there was plent of water but still no daylight. So we waited around a little bit and then decided to put on. We got 5 laps on the upper, 1 run down Back Breaker and then ran the lower gorge out. Quite a few people made it out that day  Heath Day, Jason Mellor, Micah and Joe Goodwin, among many others. Another great day in the Ouachitas!
